The gesture of a partially hidden hooded man is cleverly censored by the logomark of The Educated Dropout

The Educated Dropout is a lifestyle brand whose identity is ingeniously communicated through its emotive name and thought-provoking emblem that are meticulously crafted to perfection.

We aspire to be the street wear label whose emblem becomes the cultural icon for our community – the youth, men and women who stick it to the man.

Our product focus is on designing different headwear styles – such as snapbacks, trucker hats, beanies, baseball caps, bucket hats – with embroideries in the shape of our name (logotype) and / or emblem, which incorporates the logomark.

The Name

The Educated Dropout's name possesses two interesting properties:

  1. Good things come in threes
    The letters 't', 'e', and 'd' appear the most number of times - a total of three each. Coincidentally, those are our name's initials, made up of three letters.

  2. The end is the beginning
    Joining our name's end to its start, the last letter of every word is the beginning of the next.

The Emblem

The Educated Dropout's emblem incorporates as many as SIX meaningful components:

  1. The Letters 't', 'e', 'D' represent the initials of our name.

  2. The Silhouette of a person personifies our brand.

  3. The Rivet denotes the fastening of our beliefs.

  4. The Hand Fan expresses the fanning of the ideals that we live by.

  5. The Plectrum exemplifies the influence of music in our lives.

  6. The <one that cannot be explicitly mentioned> signifies ... well, it's self-explanatory.
